Explore Your Town

You're invited to join us on Saturday, August 9 2008 at 10:00 AM. We will be taking an easy hike through the Scotland Brook Wildlife Sanctuary in Landaff, NH. This piece of conservation land is managed by the NH Audubon Society and is a wonderful area to take a walk and see some beautiful flora and fauna. Heidi Sagar, Carol Wharton, Marilyn Booth and others will be with us to point out birdsong, plant life and other interesting features of what is truly a jewel of the town.

After our walk, we're all invited to have a picnic lunch at the home of Carol and Don Wharton. So wear appropriate footwear, pack the field guide of your choice, take a camera, bring your picnic lunch and have a great time with us!

Rain date is Sunday, August 10. Please drop me a note to let me know if you'll be joining us so we can plan for the size of the group.

For directions and more information about the sanctuary, you can visit http://www.nhaudubon.org/sanctuaries/scotland.htm

Event is sponsored by Woodland Stewards
